A closest to the pin contest is also traditionally held on a par 3 hole and frequently on the same hole as a hole in one contest. The golfer who hits the ball closest to the hole is the winner and will receive a prize. The Beta Alpha Alumni Association is a Missouri nonprofit corporation officially incorporated as Sigma Tau Gamma – Beta Alpha Alumni, Inc. The association was re-established on September 9th, 2011 after an in-kind gift from a group of founding fathers from the current active charter at the University of Missouri – Columbia.
